The climate emergency makes new demands on land. Responding to the global climate crisis, it requires allocating more space for nature. This is why we refer to a Green New Deal for Nature, in order to allocate 25% of the UK’s land primarily to carbon sequestration and extreme flooding reduction through rewilding processes.
